SESSION GUIDELINES

Speakers can find the location of their session via the mobile app and in the complete official programme, available on the website in PDF format. Each regular session lasts 90 minutes and is divided into 4 timeslots to acommodate 4 talks. To allow time for questions and enable jumping between sessions, all speakers are kindly requested to prepare their presentations for a maximum of 20 minutes, even if their session includes less than 4 speakers. The official PowerPoint presentation template for the slideshow is available for download here - its use is optional. Speakers should arrive at their lecture room at least 15 minutes before the session starts. Once there, they should contact the session chair to set up the presentation. Note, there are no PCs available in the lecture room.

Session chairs must ensure that their sessions start and end on time, and that presentations are set up correctly and run in the order shown in the official programme. If a speaker does not show up, please keep to the original schedule to facilitate session jumping. If the session chair is absent, the first speaker should replace him/her. The chair should let speakers know when they are nearing the end of their presentation time (5 minutes and 1 minute). Session chairs are kindly asked to record the number of attendees to each session on the attendance sheets provided in the room.

Equipment in all session rooms at EURO 2024 includes a projector with HDMI connection. Most rooms also have the possibility to connect through USB-C, but we do suggest you bring your own adapter for security. The room equipment DOES NOT include a PC; hence, we strongly suggest speakers bring their own PCs. It is not possible to borrow PCs from the venue.
